Yesterday an online article was published on a social media campaign of Switzerland’s Pensionfunds Association ASIP. The article is very positive, unfortunately in German only. I’ll give a short summary and add some information about seReive’s role.
The article by Manuel Nappo, published in Switzerland’s Advertising industry magazine Werbewoche, basically states that a topic like pensionfunds is very difficult to communicate. When people are young, they don’t care; when they are close to retirement, it is often too late to provide for one’s old age. The website http://www.mit-uns-fuer-uns.ch/blog however, is a must for everybody who is interested in social media, as it shows how it is possible to communicate such a difficult topic in a way that attracts readers and makes the complex matter understandable.
This article makes us very proud. The campaign is managed by Peter Metzinger of business campaigning Switzerland, one of the two founders of seReive, and seReive is applied on a daily basis to feed the different social media. Peter scans traditional media and the internet for interesting topics every day. When he finds something, he publishes it either with a comment or/and with additional information. Once the article is published on the blog, he posts a short description and the link to ASIP’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and sometimes to other social media walls as well; e.g. his own Facebook account. This would not be possible without seReive. It would simply consume too much time. So, this positive feedback to ASIP is also thanks to seReive.
