seReive Newsletter: Important Message To Users And Subscribers – Action Required

The following newsletter has just been sent to seReive’s users and subscribers:

Good morning!
You are receiving this email because you signed up to seReive, the Social Media Cockpit designed to manage all your social media networks. If you no longer want to receive this newsletter, you can unsubscribe at the bottom. This will automatically end your subscription to seReive as well. We recommend to read this newsletter first, before you make that decision.
Learnings From One Year Of Professional Use
Since we first launched seReive, a lot of changes have taken place, as we learned better what needed improvement, while using the application. I have been using her heavily in social media campaigning for several clients of my agency. I can honestly say, I was always ver happy having an application like this. seReive made social media campaigning possible, because without such a tool I would simply not have done it. All the logging in and out of networks and copy-pasting messages would not have been an option. Most often I would not have done it, or would have forgotten it. And since we have been testing the feedback feature, I also don’t miss feedbacks anymore. More about the feedback feature further down.
When we started with seReive we had only provisional design and access to those various networks was a bit unreliable, because they permanently changed parameters. In the meantime oAuth has come up as a reliable access methodology, based on official authorization by the networks, andwe switched our set up process to oAuth. Now you also don’t need to give us your access information to those networks anymore.
Users, Please Switch To oAuth Until Monday
As it is our goal to give you the best user experience that we can, considering our still very limited resources, we ask you to do a few changes in your account, and switch to oAuth, too, but only if you haven’t done so yet. This requires that you delete your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn walls in the settings and set them up from new. (MySpace oAuth is coming soon, so watch seReive’s Facebook pageTwitter, or blog.)
Please, do this before 14th of March. Some time after that date we will turn off the old set up process, because it is only confusing to have both still active.

If you set up your account recently, you probably are on oAuth already. Check your settings. If you can see “[Authorized]” behind the Master Accounts, then no further action is required.

The new process is a lot more reliable and allows us to implement a couple of new features in the future. The other good news is, that adding walls of pages and groups has become a lot easier now.
